Diane Lockett is a second generation artist with a lifetime of paint under her fingernails. Born and raised in sub-tropical Africa she revels in color (she has taught color theory) and natural beauty. She constantly seeks the warmest spot in the room.
Over the years, she has preferred the career choices that allow her to roll up her sleeves & get her hands dirty. She has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator, a stylist and layout artist, a garment designer, a textile researcher & developer, & a printer & dyer. Now she spends her time in front of an easel.
She can be found in her studio at the ICB Building in Sausalito.
